Thoughtsofinspiration would like to feature a few "thoughtful people". I believe these recipients have
displayed a positive image that is making a change in our community, school system, church, fashion,
and music industry. They are role models to themselves as well as others. Thoughtsofinspiration
salutes the divinity (the best) in them.

Carl Trogdon
In fall of 2004, Carl Trogdon of Alek Risimnic Couture debuted it first
collection.  At the beginning of conception Carl wanted to create an
affordable couture collection that no one had done on a small scale
before.  Never following what others are doing, and aiding in setting a
standard of what fine apparel should be, yet never losing the
fundamentals and practicality of effortless dressing.  The Alek Risiminc
Couture designs hold fast to keeping the fashion line cutting edge, highly
innovative, with designer touches and embellishments. Carl's favorite part
of designing for Alek Risimnic Couture for his clients is the finished
product. With a strong concentration on making Alek Risimnic Couture a
fundamental staple in Fashion, Carl's ultimate goal is to showcase at
Bryant Park in New York’s Fashion Week; giving the world the chance to
view the creativity that the black designer from Baltimore has to offer.

custom designs.
Ms. Deborah Hamlette
What made me start teaching was a desire to help young people. Teaching was
a second choice for me after graduating from high school. I planned to be a
historian or lawyer. During the 1960's I was inspired by the Black power
movement to learn my history and then pass that information on to others.  Lack
of knowledge is a key factor in why so many people fail to succeed. True
teaching is an art form. Dedicated and committed educators take the time to
sharpen their skills and enhance the craft of delivering instruction.

One passion that I have in life is to design a program targeting women who need
a second chance in life; a program that educates and empowers women to
become all that they can be. Regardless of the situation that a woman may face,
it is important that she receive the resources and tools to reshape her thinking
and choices she makes to prepare for a better future. There are several
programs for women out there but they often make it almost impossible for
women to receive wrap around services required to facilitate transforming lives.
There are variety of support services and resources accessible to women using
business, government, and non profit organizations as partners with vested
interest in the future of families and communities. A program that thinks outside
of the box to retrieve women on the outer edge of life due to social, economic,
and political agendas harmful to families and neighborhoods across America.
We honor Kortnei Moss for showing us how to be a fighter through difficult times. Her
courageous fight to conquer a disease of cancer gives us hope that all things are
possible thorough Christ. We  admire her fight, determination, and courage. She is
"TROOPER” and we are delighted she is an inspiration to all. Keep fighting, keep
believing, keep laughing, keep shining because Jesus is for real.
Pastor Therm M. James Sr is truly an anointed man of God. Pastor
James loves the Word and the sheep which God has placed in his care.  
The members of Bethany have been blessed tremendously by the
enthusiastic teaching and preaching of Pastor James.  His ministry is
founded on the simple, yet often forgotten ideal of giving back to the
community and its people, essentially, “taking care of home”.

Pastor James loves to impart the Word of God.  Under his leadership, the
seeds of spiritual growth have been planted and God continues to grant
the increase.  Bethany can proclaim that Pastor James is not merely a
hearer of the Word, but a doer of the Word.

We honor and will ever salute Ms. Verdella Owens and Mr. Tony Kirton for fighting on the battlefield
for the Lord. They are in a better place with their heavenly Father. They will be missed. We will keep
their memory forever in our heart.
